HJC Helmet History

Started in 1971, HJC has grow to become the best selling helmet brand in North America. HJC Technology

HJC employs an advanced ventilation channeling system with unique composite shell design. These helmets keep visibility high and fog-free while providing a comfortable and safe fit. HJC motorcycle helmets come in a wide array of models, colors, and designs, and offer a great set of features. Some of their most popular models include the CL and AC series. The CL and AC helmets provide D.O.T. and Snell-rated safety compliance with shells constructed from a combination of fiberglass and Spectra, a polyethylene material 10-times the strength of steel.

The CL and AC Helmet Series at a Glance

Features found in the CL series helmet include the following:

• Four available shell sizes for youth and adult riders;
• Adjustable chin bar;
• Front and side vortex vents and two rear exhaust vents;
• Nylex® interior liner;
• Removable and washable cheek pads;
• Tool-less shield removal;
• Optically correct shield design; and
• 100 percent UV protection.

Features included in the AC series include the following:

• Dual density lightweight EPS liner;
• Improved visibility with a larger eye port;
• Advanced channeling ventilation system;
• Four position forehead and exhaust vents;
• Adjustable chin bar, eliminating shield fogging;
• Breath guard included;
• Removable and washable cheek pads and liner;
• Cool Max liner system;
• Built-in communication system speaker pockets; and
• A wide variety of colors and graphics to choose from.

HJC also offers a carbon fiber helmet in the AC series. The AC Carbon makes use of a carbon fiber weave in its shell construction, creating an incredibly rigid yet lightweight helmet that weighs in at a little over three pounds.
